LongMarch Tyres

Chaoyang LongMarch Tire Co. has been manufacturing tyres since 1966. The company was previously part of Liaoning Tyre Co Ltd. LongMarch tyres are internationally accredited under ISO/TS 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2000 quality control systems. In 2020, Service Industries Limited (SIL) formed a joint venture with Chaoyang Long March Tire Co. Ltd. and Myco Corporation to establish a radial tyre manufacturing facility in Pakistan. With over 50 years of research and design using specialized machinery from Germany, Holland and Japan, Longmarch now exports to 45+ countries world-wide.

Tyrewise was created to prevent millions of tyres ending up landfill, being illegally stockpiled or dumped each year, so we can protect the health of both te taiao, our environment, and our hapori, communities. The scheme was designed by industry with support from government and was widely consulted on before regulations supporting tyre stewardship were approved. A tyre stewardship fee will be charged on all new tyres sold loose or on a vehicle. The fee is $6.65 (excl. GST) for a standard passenger tyre, but will vary depending on the type of tyre.
