BFGoodrich was the first American tyre manufacturer to make radial tyres. It made tires for the then new Winton car from Winton Motor Carriage Company. BFGoodrich tyres have been fitted to several noteworthy historical vehicles: In 1903 the first car to cross the United States was fitted with BFGoodrich tyres.
